The lenses on this style are rated “2” in UV protection, so they aren’t super dark. And I bought them just to try out, because I normally but the darkest sunglasses available. What I happily discovered is that there are times when I don’t WANT a darker lens. Yesterday I had to drive through heavy fog and my dark sunglasses were too dark. But these were PERFECT! They cut down on the fog’s glare and I could see very easily. I will keep a pair always in my glove box, just for occasional low lighting like fog or twilight.
I bought these to bring a lil pop to my usual brown or black sunnies

Out of several sunglasses I ordered from Indy, I expected to like these the least. In fact, they are my favorite. I even ordered a second pair. The style works well on my square-shaped face. Good quality and excellent protection from UV rays.
